Brett “Mr. Eco” Edwards, inspired by his AP Environmental Science teacher, combined his passion for hip-hop and sustainability to create an eco rap superhero, Mr. Eco. He has released five albums, produced numerous music videos, and performed "The EcoHero Show" in seven countries, inspiring over 1.2 million students at 2,700 elementary schools.

In January 2024, Nia “Eco Sistah” Duckett joined the EcoHero team as an in-person performer, creating "Eco Sistah." While training and witnessing the transformative impact of the shows, she saw the immense potential to reach even more children. Curious, she asked Mr. Eco if he had any ideas to expand their reach. Knowing she was a star, his response? “You know, I’ve been thinking about a rap-along book series—want to do it together?”

The rest is history! Now, they’re bringing the Rap-Along book series to life through “Let’s Go Eco” theater productions and individual school shows. Combining singing, dancing, and call-and-response interactions, they continue to inspire the next generation of EcoHeroes with fun and impactful environmental education.
